This section is hidden inside a <details> element. Markdown still works inside HTML blocks (when separated by blank lines).

Typographic Niceties

Markdown-it’s typographer converts:

Straight quotes to “smart quotes”
-- to an en-dash – like this
--- to an em-dash — like this
Three dots ... to an ellipsis…
